BURLINGTON, ON – Canada’s longest running daily television show announced today the arrival of Greg Musselman, who joins the ranks of on-air hosts on 100 Huntley Street to share the life-changing stories that began ministering to Canadians coast-to-coast 40 years ago. Musselman will be a regular face and brand ambassador of the daily telecast with its vision to inspire every person to life-transforming faith. Joining Greg on staff will be fellow newcomer Robbie Symons debuting as the Daily Bible Teacher and addressing a missing literacy in Canada — a need for the Bible to impact lives.
Crossroads CEO Lorna Dueck led the quest for the on-air team expansion, “100 Huntley Street is a spiritual treasure in Canada and after a thorough, prayer-filled search, our leadership team is excited to welcome both Greg Musselman and Robbie Symons. We believe this addition will only strengthen 100 Huntley Street’s voice and its message of hope throughout the Canadian media landscape.”
Greg Musselman began his career in 1981 as a sports anchor for ITV (now Global Edmonton) before attending Northwest Bible College (now Vanguard College) and working as a church Pastor. In 2000, he began travelling to over 25 countries and 5 continents, interviewing hundreds of people and recording first person accounts of persecuted Christians through his continuing work with The Voice of the Martyrs Canada. He is a sought-after speaker and author. Greg has also produced documentaries, along with television and radio programs around the world.
“Greg Musselman and The Voice of the Martyrs Canada has been a longtime friend of this ministry, bringing us powerful stories of people who are staying true to their faith in some of the most hostile places on the planet” said 100 Huntley Street senior executive producer, Cheryl Weber. Echoing these sentiments is co-host and colleague Magdalene John who states, “His years of experience in front of the camera and in the mission field has brought him to this point. We know Greg will do an amazing job sharing the message of hope that we have the privilege of bringing to a national audience every day.” Greg Musselman will host the thirty-minute daily broadcast of 100 Huntley Street alongside broadcast veterans, Cheryl Weber and Magdalene John.
“I am passionate about sharing the powerful stories that have proven to inspire positive life-transformation through the Gospel. I have felt a call to this ministry for over thirty years and I am excited to contribute to the legacy of faith in Canadian media that Crossroads and 100 Huntley Streetfounder David Mainse pioneered.” – Greg Musselman
A familiar guest to the 100 Huntley Street audience, Pastor Robbie Symons (Founder, Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville) now joins the program with a daily Bible teaching segment. Each week he will speak on a theme from Scripture to invoke positive life change through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Robbie earned a Masters of Divinity Degree at McMaster University and is the Founder and Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville, a much loved church movement engaging thousands of people. He is an author and his messages are heard on radio in the Greater Toronto and Buffalo area.
“My call is to help people raise the bar to a powerful, Christ-exalting life, which will bring God huge glory! My hope is to help Canadians reignite a passion for the Gospel, that they would realize their potential through His amazing power. Fostering supernatural life change is a mission where both I and 100 Huntley Street align.” – Robbie Symons
