Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. produced a special International Women’s Day episode of See Hear Love with Melinda Estabrooks which aired March 2 on YES TV. Host Melinda Estabrooks was joined by Lorna Dueck (Crossroads CEO and TV Host of Context Beyond the Headlines), Christine MacMillan (former commissioner of the Salvation Army Canada, Bermuda and Papua New Guinea), Kim Fletcher (VP of Philanthropy & Customer Experience at World Vision), and Cheryl Nembhard (Social Justice Advocate).

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.
The 30-minute TV special gathered women from some of Canada’s leading not-for-profit organizations who share their unique struggles and profound triumphs as female leaders.

“We celebrate the progress that’s been made towards women’s equality but also want to empower men and women to bridge the gaps that still exist. My hope through this program is to provide powerful insights that will help more women thrive in their God-given calling!” – Melinda Estabrooks

See Hear Love’s mission is to create a safe and authentic community for millennial women where they can hear stories, ask questions and share their journeys to further grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus.
