is looking for a highly creative designer who would love to work in an environment that couples talent with purpose in a contract position for a

Senior Graphic Designer

The chosen candidate will be fully aligned and passionate about creatively engaging people in the organization’s mission.

Purpose:

This position provides creative design that supports all elements of the fund-raising initiatives of Crossroads thereby contributing to its Development goals.

Reporting:

Reports directly to the Director of Integrated Marketing

Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Design direct mailings
  2. Design and maintain web pages and banners
  3. Layout annual reports, brochures and other marketing pieces
  4. Create and design fund raising campaigns and proposals

 

Duties:

  1. Create Power Point presentations as directed by senior management for fund raising purposes
  2. Collaborate with team
  3. Give direction to outside printers
  4. Design for Crossroads’ Reach magazine
  5. Create social media images
  6. Contribute to campaign development through visual design
  7. Layout letters, envelopes, reply cards, post cards, and more
  8. Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Degree or diploma or relevant and proven industry experience in Graphic Design
  2. Minimum 5 years Graphic Design experience
  3. Eye for design and understanding and knowledge of motion graphics, design theory, including: layout composition, digital photo manipulation, typography, and vector and 3D graphics
  4. Strong Command of Adobe Creative Suite Programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere
  5. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Adobe Dreamweaver
  6. Solid understanding of print pre-press, web graphic specifications
  7. Solid understanding of broadcast standards for video including closed captioning and working with Quantel
  8. Strong written communication skills
